I'm Kristie, the founder of this site and the wife to a 767-300 ER (International) Delta Airlines Pilot based out of JFK, living in SDL.

I created this site in 2001, after the twin towers fell. I was looking for some support and news on what was happening in the airline industry since my husband was stuck, literally stranded, in Boston at the time. Honestly speaking, there wasn't much action to be found on the web. With that, I decided to create a website that would be of use to other spouses and families in times of need.

Since then, it has branched into an active community of pilot wives and significant others who are looking for connections to like-minded lifestyle companionship that seems forever changing.

My husband is the founder and operator of Jetcareers.com, successful since 1998 in mentoring future aviation pilots around the globe. Our missions are the same..."Pay It Forward"...
