I'm Kristie, the founder of this site and a wife to a 767-300 ER (International) Delta Airlines Pilot based out of JFK, living in SDL.

I created this site in 2001, after the twin towers fell. I was looking for some support and news on what was happening in the airline industry since my husband was stuck, literally stranded, in Boston at the time. Honestly speaking, there wasn't much action to be found on the web. With that, I decided to create a website that would be of use to other spouses and families in times of need.

Since then, it has branched into an active, aviation community of people who are looking for like minded lifestyle companionship that seems forever changing.

My husband is the founder and operator of Jetcareers.com, successful since 1998. His Jetcareers motto and the Jetgirls.net motto are the same...Pay It Forward...Feel free to view the site and please, add your 0.02 cents.

We are open for current aviation or military spouses, future spouses, girlfriends, parents and even friends. Welcome aboard!

Aviation Career Expo 2010 PDF Print E-mail

The Aviation Career Expo is a one or two day annual recruitment and networking event for aviation professionals. Our event encompasses aviation-focused individuals from student to professional pilots, flight attendants, air traffic controllers, line service and other individuals who are building or currently have careers within the aviation industry.  The demographic of our attendees range from 21 to 65 and are pre-dominantly male.

Typical nature of the program is education, recruitment and networking. We will host:

  • Educational breakout sessions. Our education sessions encompass various roundtable conversations from career building to continued professionalism, political/union affiliations and aero-medical discussions among others.
  • Recruitment/employment fair. The recruitment fair will include aviation companies from student academy to freight and passenger airlines, both national and international. The military sectors will also be represented among many other different career opportunities.
  • NetworkJC. A casual networking event where aviation professionals can talk to recruiters and other aviation professionals on a casual “get to know you” basis.

The event is held in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are currently working on obtaining our location and dates.

Please feel free to visit our website at aviationcareerexpo.com
